We know all about Toyota’s commitment to the environment and to the future of mobility, but did you know that they’re also committed to children? Mixing those commitments together, Toyota created the 2016 Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. This isn’t the first year for the Dream Car Art Contest, as we covered it last year as well, and just like last year we’re quite impressed by the nine winning pieces of art that children 15 and under submitted.

“In my first year as a judge for the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, I’m amazed by the artwork of so many young and talented Canadians. A glimpse into the creativity demonstrated in these submissions provides insights into the way youth think about the future of mobility.”
– Larry Hutchinson, President & CEO, Toyota Canada Inc.
The contest calls for three different age categories (Under 8, 8-11, 12-15) to imagine their dream car and what the future of mobility might hold. Their artworks would then be judged based on originality, creativity and just how relevant it was to the Toyota Dream Car theme. Then, three winners were picked from each age group, and awarded a 7” 8GB tablet.
Under 8 Winners
The images created by these talented young people inspire hope for the future, and we can’t wait to see what these children grow up to do. We’ll keep you posted this fall if Toyota decides to hold another Dream Car Art Contest for next year, giving you or your children a chance to enter as well!
